Mr. Sheril "Bud" Schaaf

Grandpa was so fun ,I loved his stories,and so much more.I miss him so much,It was a blessing to have him as part of my life.

Pigeon has just lost another great personality. I remember Bud as "Santa", as sheriff, but mostly I remember Bud with a quick smile and a good story. In the summer months while visiting Pigeon I would often see Bud and his lovely wife enjoying the outdoors on their swing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as you cope with the loss of Bud.

May You Rest in Peace. Hope you are reunited with my grandparents and your dear friends- Don & Pearl. Your smile and personality will always be remembered.

Ginny, Sue & Family: May all the wonderful memories help ease the pain in your hearts. Bud was a very special man who brought sunshine and happiness to all he knew. I'm so thankful we got to visit Bud while in the hospital. His spectacular smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

How sad to hear about the passing of "Santa Claus". I remember Bud so fondly, not just because he was a marvelous Santa, but he was such a warm & friendly person! I send you my deepest condolences, and will be in prayer for you.

Aunt Virginia we've certainly been thinking of you and Susan and feel sad that we will not be able to be with you. We pray that God will strengthen and comfort you in the difficult days ahead. We are happy to have visited with Uncle Bud while at Covenant Harrison not long ago. Will always remember him for his great sense of humor. He has left all of us with many great memories and we'll miss him very much. We will see you in March.

Virginia & Sue, Had a wonderful conversation with Bud a few weeks ago, and will remember the conversation always. Bud was so fun to chat with, and converse, usually laughing about something. How wonderful to remember him this way. Always enjoyed seeing and chatting. May God Bless you with wonderful memories of your husband and dad.

Uncle Bud; Was up early for "Coffee"; I stopped in and he made Breakfast; Coffee and Eggs; I enjoyed many of his stories but the one I likebest was when he was "fishing" and the conservation officers pulled alongside his boat & ask if he had a shotgun; "Uncle Bud reply was "I sure do"; Where is it the conservation officers ask---In true "Uncle Bud" form"He replied---at home in the closet" lol Apparently some one was fishing off there

Apparently "God" needs some laughs. Told me he drove a "General around/bessides being a ambulance driver---Couldn't understand why there was any difference between "Korean Vets" & "Viet Nam Vets"; Told UB I made it to Washington & seen the "Korean War Memorial"; American Soldiers crossing a field---not of them looked like him---probably 10 or 12 Statues of "American Soldiers crossing the Korean Countryside"; Going to miss you UB---Glad I got to see you & Aunt Virginia at "Millington apartments"
